Background

Adam graduated with a Sports and Exercise Science degree from Anglia Ruskin University in 2017. Following this, he worked as a health adviser performing health and fitness assessments for Bupa at the Cambridge Spire Lea Hospital for four years. Having worked with thousands of patients to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, he has a wealth of professional, clinical experience to bring to the team. Since joining Spire in 2017, he has recently undertaken a nursing apprenticeship degree to broaden his opportunities in healthcare.

Palmares 

Adam ran his first school cross-country in 2003, aged 8 and finished his first junior Triathlon two years later. As a junior he’s competed at elite level in Triathlon, competed at ASA national swimming championships, made 6 county cross-country teams and finished third in the eastern region cyclo-cross league. Adam has been regional champion in Triathlon, regional medallist in the pool, county 1500m freestyle champion and county 5000m champion on the track. He’s also gone on to compete at the 70.3 World Championships having finished 3rd in his age group at his first middle-distance Triathlon.

 

He boasts p.bs of 15.12 for 5k, and 2.29.07 for the marathon. Adam has ridden a 19.37 10mile TT, swum 1.59.53 for 200m and 16.45.16 for 1500m. 

 

Beyond the world of elite sport, he relishes endurance challenges. Since cycling Lands End – John O’Groats and climbing the 3 peaks within two weeks aged 17, he’s gone on to climb 6000m peaks, and run the Welsh 3000’s. With a wealth of experience across numerous endurance sports, Adam truly understands the demands of your endurance goals.
